Welcome! My name is Super Amanda and you may already know me from my You Tube videos and Pin Up pictures. I study the life of and blog about the work of British film maker Ken Russell whom I've been blogging about since July 3rd 2011. Anyone can comment, you do not have to join blogger. All are welcome. Ken Russell fans and detractors alike, please chime in. If you are new to Ken Russell then you are severely parched of cultural literacy and must drink here. I also maintain a separate blog for rants and soliloquies which you can access through my profile or below. As in my profile portrait, I plan to enter the forest, enjoy the music and loosen nuts.

Great lynx link,Amanda!Gotta luv da lynx.Sorry to say , I just read dat da hunters over here in Sweden (an amazingly powerful political lobby group btw)have been licensed to kill off TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY lynxes da comin month , under da pretext dat ´the country can´t afford to sustain so much wildlife ´.Says who?All da trigger happy hunters,presumably... So Happiness is a warm gun ? Don´t think so. Happiness is a big warm CAT ./

Have you ever (I'm sure you have) seen that vid of Christian the lion reuniting with the owners who brought him up? Sooooo sweet. The recognition and affection. So silent and understated but so real.
Long live and lots of love to the lynxes and lions and tigers (those lovely felines),sorry I can't view the link at present, happy v-day!
