The New Kid In Town

IT'S BEEN A HARD DAYS NIGHT. Can Elmer Fudd do it? Will we care? Will anyone?
Bugs Bunny will win!! He always does!

This past weekend I was kindly given a tour of my new home from a local Roger Daltrey fan who knew all the words to 'Giving It All Away' and 'One of The Boys...'
Now I know a lot of fascinating local history, whose a dealer & who just dresses like one, where the best coffee is, where the sixty year old stripper lives, which pubs are best for which mood and that the currently hottest outdoor wannabe Studio 54 Club in London is just a few minutes away. But folks ,it's the 'Pie And Mash Shoppe' that I can't get over. Seriously wonderful way back machine time. Three things on the menu: pie, mash and hot eels. It was closed but a photo session is due soon.

Nice post, Amanda. Sounds like you're fitting in just fine. :)

Wallace was a very tall man, which I learned on a trip to Scotland; apparently Mel Gibson is the height of the man's sword. You might toss that fact out at the pub on the next outing.

Have fun!

Cheers,
AM

Amanda,

The Rabbit of Seville is one of my favourites! The wonderful thing about all of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons is the selection of music in them. Not only were you entertained by the whole animated crew, but you learned a bit about music as well. Excellent!

"I'm bummed out because I havent bought a round yet."

Ah yes, I always face this problem with my uncles. Here's what I find, while the current round is about halfway through, sneak up to the barman and prepay the next one. That way, whoever wins the battle of the rounds next is still one step behind you! (I've had many a battle, slamming money on the bar, pushing and shoving and body-checking... it can get quite violent at times! :) )

Nifty pictures, stories, and of course the most beautiful and fabulous you! Keep it up!

Jack
(P.S. You are in England now... you are supposed to get pasty. Nevermind about tans! :p)

"Oh Finster, Finster baby, you look simply marvelous"...I'll give you my last 2 dollar bill, if you could identify that line. Hint, it's not Billy Crystal (he stole this phrase from this character)

Hi Amanda,
I can't wait to go there! I'm already looking into some colleges in London. My community college used to have the semester program for London, but they now switched to Spain!

Have a great weekend!

Hey Amanda!
My little girl was enjoying your pics and she reminded me that she saw a symphony perform along with this cartoon in San Diego! (It was a Looney Tunes symphony concert! cool, eh?).
So sad about England...poor Becks (is that what they call him over there?). My family is World Cup CRAAAAAZY.
Why not- right?
Glad you're enjoying your new digs!
What's not to enjoy...
Take care and be well,
Sue D.xx
