Very Rare Pete Townshend Demo: Thanks Piera
Our very own Piera created the slideshow and it's proof that Eric Clapton and Sir Mick don't always have the corner on the classic British soul rock! I love the romantically popart clothing and poses from the early days of The Who so much, parts of London still have that vibe, it's like magic to me. The song is called "I Always Say."

How sweet....I think Pete should record "I always Say"...it is still fresh sounding and still relavant...don't you think?
btw, this video took me back....John in his tight pants, we used to giggle about that...ah, youth!!

Thanks for posting this demo Amanda! I don't think this one is released on any of the Scoop albums or anywhere else, right? There's a really special feeling of Pete's early demos from the 60s.

Hiya darling! We go back to London today from Miami. I like the video and it's ages since I heard this little song. Think of you often. Thanks for coming to my memoirs. Send my regards to your mom, and loads of love to you. Pete
Pete you are so sweet, we all adore you. Thanks for letting us all sing and make vids of your songs and for giving so much of yourself so selflessly, it will not be forgotten or go unnoticed!
OH WOW!!!
