Being a kind person
I am always amazed when i see myself being a grump or walking about with resentment-I was one of the happiest , cheeriest folks around. I am now trying to be happy and have as little negativity as possible..ALL THE TIME! I'm calling it my 'new improved beauty treatment...'
(That's me with Boris who passed away at age 18 this past Feb. He made t to the end of the Chinese year of the Monkey. I miss him so much.)

Thanks for the kind feedback on my slog (silly + blog).
I fear the initial thrill of the thing is starting to wear thin for me. Although I've found it's an instant conversation starter with the people I tend to be around at dinner parties and such. They don't even know what a blog is, so they are fascinated by it.
Boris is a great name for a cat. I can't wait to see your Halloween costume . . .

I just popped in after seeing a few of your posts on Rachel's blog.
I enjoyed the reference to to "Richard the Lion Heart" (who happens to be one of my favourite historical characters, although I know very little about him.
(Maybe it was "A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse" that hooked me).
I just never thought of Pete Townshend in that way before - I'll have to sleep on that one.

I had a Siamese cat named Monkey. We have a household full of aging animals & I am not looking forward to the day...
Keep on being as super as you like. (Some days are not as super as others).

P.S. Do you know how to change the "about me" on the front page of a blog? I'd like to edit mine a bit, but I can't figure out how. I am not very well-versed in the intricacies (sp?) of computer technology.
