The Electric Prom Girl Can't Help It

YES! I just was just watching BBC One and they announced that The Who will be performing all of Wire And Glass at London's most storied rock venue 'The Roundhouse' in October right up the road from me in Camden Town!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms/
I've been singing a lot of Entwistle songs like '905', 'I Feel Better' and 'Smash Your Head Against The Wall' lately and thought it would be nice to post a picture of all three. I'm diggin Roger's 'Cosby sweater!' I was singing Roger's heartfelt Arsenal footballer's anthem 'Highbury High' the other day at The Pub and people were calling me a right traitor as I live in West Ham United's borders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnHMfK9RwY0 Check out Rog!

My best friend Brian is going to be here in London tomorrow and we are going to make a mini-movie about life in Shoreditch-it's going to feature real East End geezers and Columbia Road's legendary flower market among other things. I'm playing a very vibrant and saucy character I created called 'Kitten.' We are going to surprise all of my friend's co-workers at his painting and decorating job too when I show up dressed ala Jayne Mansfield and accidentally spill the contents of my coin purse; he's going to act like he had no idea--brillant!
(Thankfully none of them are bloggers ;)

The Who! The East End! It's devooon!!!

Reminds me, Jayne Mansfield's still, of a topless woman I saw playing paddle ball with a fourteen year old boy (or thereabouts) on the beach along the Mediterranean. I felt a little pained for him. I did!

Great video of Roger! Was that for a Football game? Those fans really get into it! That was cool how some had red shirts and others had white shirts.

Hi Amanda,
so are you going to the October show?

Arsenal is a great football club- they are who I cheer for on a Saturday morning, when I watch the Premiere League. They have Thierry Henry and Robert Pires, my favourite French players.

Cheers

Hey kiddo, the best part of the Highbury thing is to get yourself in trouble!!

Nice pics, my dear. London looks good on you.

Cheers,

Catching up with some delay again.

Sigh, I was going to keep an eye on the tickets for the Electric Proms tickets but failed miserably: the other day (I think it was thursday) I read in NME that the tickets had sold out in 35 minutes. Oh well, perhaps they'll put up some more at some point, or I can buy one from someone relatively cheap closer to the concert date. I will most certainly need (and deserve!) a holiday in the autumn, and what would be better than a new trip to London and the premiere of the entire mini-opera?

Hope you and your friend got the short film done great.

I always used to hate my body, particularly my boobs -having a Jayne body in jr. high when everyone had a Twiggy body was no fun. I loved Wonder Woman because her body was more like mine. Jayne and Lynda helped me to accept my curves.
I love the celebration of curviness that goes on around here. I have issues still ( see my blog). Thanks Amanda. xoxo Love,Lisa
